2012-2013 EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS GUIDE:
The FSU Emergency Preparedness Guide seeks to educate the campus community about the FSU ALERT Emergency Notification System and how to respond to the most significant natural hazard threats to campus: tropical storms, hurricanes, thunderstorms lightning, tornadoes, flooding and fires. It is intended to supplement, but not replace, the Seminole Safety and Fire Guide, which discusses campus crime.
This guide was designed to complement the 2012 Hurricane Survival Guide for the Capital Area which is distributed by the eight counties in the Tallahassee region and the American Red Cross Capital Area Chapter. Printed copies of both guides will be wrapped together when distributed by the FSView. Electronic version of the regional guide will be posted soon at: http://haveahurricaneplan.com.
